National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.)

The N.C.C. unit was established in this Medical College in year 1961. This Medical Company is only Medical Unit in State of U.P. having the strength of 200 cadets. About 60 cadets of this unit have joined Army and other forces and many cadets are holding important posts in their field. Presently Colonel Randhir Singh is the commanding officer and Dr. (Lt.) Shreesh Singh, Associate Professor, Pharmacy is associate N.C.C. officer of the medical company.

Seventy cadets of 49th batch of M.B.B.S. students have recently participated in regular Army attachment camp at Military Hospital, Allahabad. They have undergone army training, firing and other activities during the camps. The cadets also conducted tree plantation during the camp. Sheodeo Rajak among the boys and Charubala Sharma among the girls were adjudged the best cadets in the camp.
